Curley is a sweet 6-7-year old Pit Bull and Boxer mix. "I am an old soul with a big heart in need of a very
special home. I came to Faithful Friends from an abusive situation a couple years ago and it is time to find me a real home! I absolutely love people and wiggle my butt when I'm happy! I love to get belly rubs and cuddle in your lap. I like to chew on plush toys or go for car rides. I love cookies and other treats, too! I cannot live with other dogs, cats or small animals. I'd like to live in a home with an experienced individual who is willing to keep me as their only pet. Trust me, I have more than enough love to fill your household!" Adopter must own their own home.
Ryder is one of several dogs and cats in our care who are not likely to be adopted easily because of their special needs. You can help him or another dog or cat by signing up for our new Sponsor–A–Friend program. Thank you!
Duke: Hi! I'm Duke and I'm a 2 year old tan and white Collie Mix. I'm here with my sister, Daisy, and the two of us will need a home together! We are sweet and affectionate, and we love to play! Here at the shelter, we seem to be very well crate trained or house trained. The shelter staff has given us a couch in our kennel, and we have loved all the snuggling we get! We would like to be the only pets in the home, but we are great with each other. We love every person we meet and will make great pets for someone. We are just waiting for that perfect home! Won't you come down and meet us? |

Gypsy: Gypsy is a 5 year old red Dachshund that came to Faithful Friends as a stray. The poor little girl was having urinary issues and the staff thought she may be pregnant due to her distended belly. We were able to do blood work and determine that she had a urinary tract infection and scheduled her for x-rays to determine if she was indeed pregnant. To our surprise, she was not pregnant, but instead her bladder was full of stones. The veterinarian stated that this was the worst case of bladder stones that she has ever encountered. The veterinarian at Windcrest recommended emergency surgery and our veterinarian Dr. Phillips was able to start the surgery at the shelter within an hour. While in surgery, Dr. Phillips also discovered and removed a mammary tumor. While the prognosis for this type of tumor is good, we will still need to keep and eye on her and provide her with some additional medical care. Gypsy is now slowly recovering from surgery and is so happy to finally feel some relief. Gypsy needs a new home that will provide her with all of the love and attention that she deserves. She wants a home where she can finally be her happy, silly self.

Monkey: Hi! I'm Monkey! I'm a handsome chocolate & white 10 month old American Pit Bull Terrier male. My name is Monkey because I make all kinds of funny little sounds that remind you of a cute little monkey. I am a really big talker with a super outgoing personality to match. I get along great with most other dogs and cats. I'm still working on house training, but I'm doing very well so far. I would do best in an active home with an experienced owner. I love to run and play and would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. If you're looking for a handsome guy to brighten your day and keep you laughing all night long, then look no further! I'm in a foster home right now, so call to make an appointment to meet me!

Betsy is a sweet and
playful 3 year old female orange tabby that was left at the doorstep of
Faithful Friends. Nobody knows exactly how she got here, but we do know that
she is indeed rare in that it is difficult to find a female orange
tabby cat as most are usually male. This girl is a real sweetheart and
who knows what other fun surprises she has up her..paw?

Ginger: Hi! I'm Ginger and I am a 1-year old female tan and white Lab Mix! I am a super spunky and fun girl, and I would love to find an active household where I can play and run! Just look at my smile and you will see how happy and excited about life I am! I get along with most other dogs, and would probably do very well with another active dog. I would do best in a home without cats, but I am great with all types of people! I may bark at you, but that is because I am trying to lure you into playing with me! Do you think you have the home I need? If so, please apply for me today!

Trey: Hi! I'm Trey and I am a 5 year old Pit Bull Mix. I would love a chance at a new home since my owner could no longer care for me. I would rather be the only animal in the house, but I will give you more love than you can imagine! My favorite game is fetch - with any toy you give me! I am a little shy with new people sometimes, but if you let me warm up I will show you how sweet and silly I am! Since I can be shy, it's best if I lived in a household with adults only, so they can teach me how to be comfortable with new people. I would do best if my new owner had plenty of dog experience! I know there's a good home out there for me! Could that be you?

Rose:
I'm a former feral who came to the shelter with my two kittens. They have
long since been adopted, but I remain. I am very shy around people - I
haven't learned to trust them yet. Please sponsor me so that I can continue
to get the support from the people at Faithful Friends.
