Development Manager

The Development Manager is responsible for supporting and implementing development plans for the Faithful Friends Animal Society to achieve the fundraising goals of the program, both short- and long-term, under the guidance of the Development Director. These efforts will include developing and implementing an on-going fundraising strategy, organizing event and outreach efforts, and managing relationships with the organization’s new and existing donors. The Development Manager will identify, organize and manage the fundraising activities with a focus on obtaining ongoing and increased support from corporations, public and private organizations and individuals. This includes grant writing, planning events, developing and managing donor outreach and appeals, and collaboration with Marketing Manager on messaging and analytics to ensure results. Bachelor Degree required, Masters Degree preferred with knowledge of strategic fundraising planning;donor cultivation and stewardship; program management.

Experience / Skills:

  • 3-5 years professional development and fundraising experience ideally in an in-house leadership role within a non-profit entity
  • Advanced computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite; and Donor database experience
  • Desire to work as part of a team and passionate about promoting the mission of Faithful Friends Animal Society
  • Confident public speaker
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Competitive spirit and high energy, with a sense of humor when appropriate

Facility Maintenance, Janitor, and Groundskeeper - Part-time / Staff Position

The Facility Maintenance, Janitor and Groundskeeper position is a physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can work in a fast-paced, caring environment.  Interested candidates meeting the below requirements should email their resume and two references to jeannie@faithfulfriends.us.

Veterinary AssistantFull-time / Staff Position

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced vet tech to join our team. As a veterinary assistant you will assist the veterinarian during appointments and surgeries in our low cost veterinary care program. Strong listening and communication skills coupled with a passion for education and learning are what our ideal candidate will possess. This is a high volume, fast paced environment where our mission is to provide excellent service at a reasonable rate to keep pets happy, healthy and with their families. Veterinary assistant experience is required, as well as a friendly and warm personality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Medical Center ReceptionistPart-time / Staff Position

We are currently looking for an experienced front desk person to create a positive environment for patients and clients. Front desk reception is a key role in representing our organization. Requirements: Exceptional customer service skills, preferably in veterinary medicine and basic animal knowledge. Flexible schedule to include some evening, holiday and Saturday shifts. Customer service and detail oriented with the capability of compassionate and level-headed decisions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Medical Center Customer Service Rep/SchedulerPart-time / Staff Position 

In this position you will be the first contact clients have, first impressions are everything. Applicant must be able to handle a fast pace, operate multi-line phone system and schedule appointments for Communty Veterinary Care Program. Requirements: Candidates should have excellent listening and communication skills. Be able to apply new information and good judgement, while integrating excellent customer service to all clients. Be able to work some weekends, evenings and holidays. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Experience a plus, love for animals is a must. Dog Caretakers

The Dog Caretaker position is a minimum wage, labor intensive, physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can handle dogs of all sizes up to 100 lbs. in a fast-paced, caring environment.
