Customer Care Representative
Part-time / Staff Position

We are currently seeking a mature front desk staff member who is able to provide professional customer service in a hectic, fast-paced environment.  Experience dealing with emotionally charged or urgent situations related to animal welfare or human services, and ability to remain calm under pressure is required.  Must be knowledgeable about dogs and cats and general pet care, and demonstrate a passion for helping people and animals.  Bi-lingual a plus.  Interested candidates meeting the requirements should email their resume and two references to jeannie@faithfulfriends.us.  

  • 25-30 hours/week Monday-Saturday and flexible with availability

Facility Maintenance, Janitor, and Groundskeeper
Full-time / Staff Position

The Facility Maintenance, Janitor and Groundskeeper position is a physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can work in a fast-paced, caring environment.  Interested candidates meeting the below requirements should email their resume and two references to jeannie@faithfulfriends.us.

Cat Placement Coordinator
Full-time / Staff Position

The Cat Placement Coordinator will promote cats for adoption through various means, and works to increase adoptions to save more lives during shelter hours (Tuesday through Friday 1-7pm and Saturday 12-5pm.) This is a 40 hour / week position. Must be able to work Saturdays and evenings when shelter is open. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software.   • Receive, review and process cat adoption applications in a timely manner; train additional support as needed
  • Oversight of Cat Adopiton Centers including: regular contact with Cat Adoption Center Coordinators; maintain number of cats/kittens at each location; manage data and knowledge of cats; make decision to move cats to/from shelter as needed
  • Work with Cat Department Manager to maintain regular contact with foster parent and assist with questions
  • Maintain data for cats in care at the shelter, foster care and offsite centers
  • Promote cats for adoption through: website bios and photos; shelter bio sheets
  • Assist with medical intake of cats/kittens entering shelter, disinfecting and preparing cage for cats, moving cats
  • Maintain regular communication with Cat Department Manager and other key staff and volunteers
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Must have excellend customer service skills

     

Veterinary Assistant
Full-time / Staff Position

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced vet tech to join our team. As a veterinary assistant you will assist the veterinarian during appointments and surgeries in our low cost veterinary care program. Strong listening and communication skills coupled with a passion for education and learning are what our ideal candidate will possess. This is a high volume, fast paced environment where our mission is to provide excellent service at a reasonable rate to keep pets happy, healthy and with their families. Veterinary assistant experience is required, as well as a friendly and warm personality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Medical Center Receptionist
Part-time / Staff Position / Potential for Growth

We are currently looking for an experienced front desk person to create a positive environment for patients and clients. Front desk reception is a key role in representing our organization. Requirements: Exceptional customer service skills, preferably in veterinary medicine and basic animal knowledge. Flexible schedule to include some evening, holiday and Saturday shifts. Customer service and detail oriented with the capability of compassionate and level-headed decisions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software. Requirements: Candidates should have excellent listening and communication skills. Be able to apply new information and good judgement, while integrating excellent customer service to all clients.
