Veterinary Technician

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced vet tech to join our team. As a technician you will assist the veterinarian to support the care of the animals at our shelter and in foster care. Strong listening and communication skills coupled with a passion for education and learning are what our ideal candidate will possess. This is a high volume, fast paced environment where our mission is to provide excellent service at a reasonable rate to keep pets happy, healthy and with their families.  Veterinary technician experience is required, as well as a friendly and warm personality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software.

Veterinary Clinic Receptionist

Cat Placement Coordinators / Part-time or Full-time

We are currently seeking to hire experienced Cat Placement Coordinators to focus his/her efforts on promoting cats for adoption through various means, and increasing adoptions to save more lives.  Hours will be during our public hours of operation: Wednesday through Friday 1-7 and Saturday 12-5.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Receive, review and process all adoption paperwork and input and track in database
  • Work closely with the Offsite Cat Adoption Center Coordinators, choose cats/kittens and ensure the paperwork is complete
  • Coordinate, pick up or assist with bringing cats to centers
  • Plan and coordinate adoption weekends at the offsite centers with the coordinators
  • Ensure cats have photo bios and bios are updated on website
  • Keep adoption board, pet store board, and adoption book updated
  • Assist with cleaning and preparing cages, and moving cats to various locations in the shelter
  • Maintain regular communication with Supervisor and other key volunteers
  • 15-30 hours/week

Maintenance, Janitor, and Groundskeeper / Part-time
