COVID-19 Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Faithful Friends! Although our Volunteer Program has been suspended until further notice due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, we still hope to get you started as soon as possible. While we cannot invite you to our shelter on 12 Germay Drive for the safety of our staff and animals, we would like to begin your orientation process sooner rather than later and virtually welcome you to our Volunteer Team.

Virtual Volunteer Orientations

Our Virtual Volunteer Orientation will briefly introduce you to our shelter as well as our Volunteer Program opportunities and responsibilities. This should last between 45-60 minutes, including a Q&A session at the end. See schedule below. Please note that these virtual orientation sessions are not required, so if you prefer to wait until in-person orientations can once again be held then you are welcome to do so.

  • Introductions (5 min)
  • Overview of Faithful Friends (10 min)
  • Reviewing Volunteer Handbook and opportunities (20 min)
  • Q&A Session (10 min)

After completing this Virtual Volunteer Orientation, you will be contacted again once our Volunteer Program can safely resume so we can schedule you for a brief secondary orientation, during which you will tour our facility and submit your required paperwork and payment.
