Guinea Pig: Walrus

Hello – I am Walrus! I am waiting to be adopted back into a loving home – could that be yours?! I was surrendered when my family could no longer care for me, but I’m trying my best to be brave. The shelter is pretty loud and full of hustle and bustle when you’re just a little piggy. The vets think I’m about 2 years young, and if you scratch behind my ears/ nose, you’ll be my new bestie! Faithful Friends occasionally will occasionally take custody and care of small mammals, such as guinea pigs, at our shelter! Guinea pigs have great temperaments, are social, and keep a daytime schedule! They form bonds with their humans, very much like cats or dogs. They’re able to recognize people according to their scent, sound and sight cues!
