Executive Assistant (Full-Time)
Are you an animal advocate with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills? Faithful Friends Animal Society is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with advanced organizational skills to support the Executive Director with scheduling and professional preparations of meeting materials and presentations; as well as other administrative duties related to capital campaigns,
and fundraising projects.
Must be willing to work flexible hours – some evenings and occasional Saturdays required, remote work is optional one day a week. Ideal candidate is able to successfully multitask in a busy environment to meet deadlines, and work well in a team environment.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
● Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
● Coordinate staff meetings, tours, and donor meetings
● Support efforts with follow up calls and email communications
● Prepare documents and presentations for meetings, tours and events
● Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner
● Coordinator for the new Vo-tech school partnership
● Act as liaison with the partnering Vo-tech school
● Work with Directors and managers to develop the animal welfare onsite education and rotation schedule for students hired in animal care jobs.
● Be sure FFAS supervisors and managers complete evaluations of students based on program proposal.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Experience in providing excellent administrative support
● Past support at the Executive / CEO / Board of Director level a plus
● Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Office365
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Detail-oriented, ability to multitask in a busy office environment
● Flexible, willing to work evening / weekends when deadlines require
