ABOUT FAITHFUL FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY
Faithful Friends Animal Society is a comprehensive, nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves
18,000 pets and 20,000 people a year. We operate a No Kill animal shelter and a stand-alone community
veterinary clinic in Delaware.
We provide life-affirming rescue, preventative medicine, basic sick care, spay/neuter and other
procedures to community animals of those with financial limitations through our community clinic. We
are in search of a full-time exempt CLINIC VETERINARIAN to provide leadership and full oversight of the
public-facing Wellness Clinic and Surgery Center. These services are a critical part of our mission to
provide lower cost care to help keep families and cat colony caretakers with those who love them and
keep those animals healthy. This program also reduces the number of animals surrendered to shelters
due to the inability to provide medical care for a pet. The Clinic Veterinarian maintains high standards
for patient care, ensures a safe and effective environment, and upholds our values and no kill policies.
The Clinic medical suites feature dedicated exam rooms, on-site lab, supportive front-of-house staff, and
skilled veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Annually, the Shelter serves more than 2,000 animals
and the Clinic serves more than 6,000 animals each year. The Medical Director reports directly to the
Executive Director.
