Rehoming: Butch

Butch is a 7.5-year-old English Bulldog in a need of a rehoming.  He is being rehomed for personal circumstances and he deserves a home where he can be around people and or other animals.  He loves being around people, has a great demeanor, and makes a great companion.  He has never shown aggression and does not bark.  He does not have a great recall so he should be walked on a leash.  He can’t do long walks, generally a mile at the most but he can do longer from time to time.  The vet says he is in great health and could easily live to eleven. He is neutered and has had his eyes done to prevent the fur from rubbing on the eyeball.  He does have some allergies which require him to eat Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hydrolyzed Protein HP Dry Dog Food, take Apoquel, and periodically clean his ears.

He likes being next to you so he won’t be a good fit if you don’t allow pets on the couch.  He doesn’t produce a lot of slobber like most English bulldogs but he does snore a bit.  He is fully house-trained.  He can do stairs but they can’t be too steep and ideally have carpet so he doesn’t slip.  He is great in cars and easily adjusts to new environments.

People love Butch and Butch loves people.  If medical expenses for an aging bulldog are a concern, I’m willing to cover them until the end of his life.
