Dakota is roughly a 6-year-old 42-pound spayed female Shepherd mix. She is being rehomed due to no fault of her own. Her Family went through a divorce and she came to stay with her pet sitter until a home could be found. During this time we have learned that Dakota loves cats, pet rabbits, and children infant up in age. It is recommended that Dakota goes to a home with no other dogs as she is selective and does better with a submissive dog that kind of just leaves her alone. She is toy and food possessive when it comes to other dogs not to her humans though. She is very smart and picks up on routines and new commands very quickly. She is an easy keeper and would be happy in any environment. She can either be a couch potato who wants to snuggle all the time or she also seems to enjoy hiking as well so she could fit in with an active or laid-back family. She will always greet you hopping like a bunny with excitement.
