🌸 Spring 2025 Thank-a-Thon: A Heartfelt Success 🌸
This year’s Spring Thank-a-Thon was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of our amazing community of donors and the incredible staff and volunteers who dedicated their time to making this event special. The two-day celebration was all about showing gratitude and strengthening the bond between Faithful Friends Animal Society and those who make our work possible.
Why a Thank-a-Thon?
The Thank-a-Thon is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity for us to reaffirm the incredible role our donors play in helping us continue our mission. Without donor contributions, Faithful Friends wouldn’t be able to provide our services to the community or the level of care that our animals deserve. From providing food, medical care, and shelter, to ensuring each pet gets the second chance they deserve, donor support is vital.
Thank You to Our Donors
First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our donors! Your support is what makes our no-kill mission a reality. Whether you gave a one-time gift or became a monthly donor, your generosity enables us to provide essential care, shelter, and medical treatment for animals in need. The Spring Thank-a-Thon gave us the chance to connect with many of you personally. We hope you felt the love and appreciation we have for each and every one of you.
Volunteers Make It All Possible
This event wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated volunteers. Over the course of two days, volunteers participated in one of two ways: as callers or card writers. A special shout-out to our amazing Thank-a-Thon volunteers—Corey, Linda, Joanne, Sam, and Margie. We couldn’t have done it without you!
In addition to our team of volunteers, we are grateful for our dedicated staff members—Shannon, Joyce, Debbie, Kayla, Ali, Rebekah, Bre, and Emily—for taking time out of their busy schedules to help make this event a success. Your hard work and dedication truly made a difference!
Spreading Gratitude One Call at a Time – We had an enthusiastic group of callers who picked up the phone to personally thank our donors. Each call was an opportunity to share how much their contributions mean to the animals in our care. The heartfelt conversations left both our donors and callers feeling connected to the lifesaving work we do together.
Card Writers: Sending Love Through the Mail – For those who preferred a more personal touch, our card writers put pen to paper to create handwritten notes for our supporters. These cards were filled with appreciation and gratitude, letting donors know their impact goes beyond a simple donation—it saves lives.
Here’s a look at the impact our volunteers made during the Spring Thank-a-Thon:
- Total Volunteer Hours: 37.2
- Total Calls Made: 397
- Total Cards Written: 168
Our goal was to reach out to 400 donors over the course of the two-day event, and we are thrilled to share that we ended up thanking 565 donors! But it’s not just about the numbers—it’s about building relationships. The Thank-a-Thon strengthens our connection with donors, showing them that their support doesn’t go unnoticed and encouraging them to continue supporting our mission in the future.
