The Canine Behavior Supervisor is responsible for the evaluation of shelter dogs and making recommendations for placement, foster, rescue, or behavior euthanasia if appropriate. Responsible for monitoring of the shelter dog population to ensure the needs of individual dogs are being met; implementing behavior modification, training, and enrichment plans. Creating individual plans for dogs in care longer and in need of extra support. Additional responsibilities include providing and/or overseeing the training and support for the canine dog care team and volunteers.

Faithful Friends Animal Society is seeking an organized, energetic, and mission-driven Community Programs Assistant to support several of the organization’s community-based programs. This 20-hour-per-week position's responsibilities are divided among the Pet Therapy Program, the Free Pet Food Bank Program, and Community Outreach & Events. The Community Programs Assistant plays an important role in expanding Faithful Friends’ community impact by coordinating outreach activities, supporting pet food assistance efforts, and helping manage the Pet Therapy Program. The Dog Caretaker position is a minimum wage, labor-intensive, physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can handle dogs of all sizes up to 100 lbs. in a fast-paced, caring environment.
