Rehoming: Silky

Silky needs to find a new home soon! She is a very sweet natured cat who absolutely LOVES people. She has been my 95-year-old mom’s companion for several years. Unfortunately Silky needs to find another person to love since my mom is no longer able to care for her.
Silk is approximately 7 years old and is declawed. She likes sleeping with her human whenever possible. She is great company for an older person, but must be a solo cat. She absolutely does not like other animals who might infringe on her human’s time and has never been around children.
Silky is a catch-neuter-and-release cat (her cut ear is proof). She has had at least one litter in the wild. Once she was caught and neutered, though, she decided humans really were great and prefered to stay and live with them. She is playful and likes tossing her toys around, but most of all likes “talking” with her human and getting scratches behind her ears and forehead rubs.
This beautiful spunky cat is not fond of travel and must have her carrier lined with pee pads when transported – just in case…. She behaves well with the vet because the vet is a human and they are her favorites!
She is up to date on all her shots and will come with her toys, litter box, litter, and food.
