Rehoming: Mary

Mary is a 13.5-year-old cat in need of a new, loving home where she can be the only pet. Her current caretakers took her in earlier this year, after her previous owner had to move and could no longer care for her. Despite their best efforts, Mary has not adjusted to living with their two younger cats and has been consistently unfriendly toward them. After months of attempted integration with no success, they’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her for everyone’s well-being, including Mary’s.
Mary is missing her right eye but has been fully cleared by the vet and is up to date on all vaccinations. She is currently overweight, but her caregivers have her on a diet, and she’s gradually shedding the extra pounds!
This sweet senior is a total love bug with people. She’s affectionate, enjoys attention, and would thrive in a calm, quiet environment where she can be someone’s one-and-only. She’s litter box trained and has been content living in a private loft room set up just for her, but she clearly enjoyed having more freedom when things were going well. Mary would do best with a person or family who has time to spend with her and no other pets in the home!
