Veterinary Assistant
Full-time / Staff Position

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced vet tech to join our team. As a veterinary assistant, you will assist the veterinarian during appointments and surgeries in our community Veterinary Clinic. Strong listening and communication skills coupled with a passion for education and learning are what our ideal candidate will possess. This is a high volume, fast-paced environment where our mission is to provide excellent service at a reasonable rate to keep pets happy, healthy and with their families. Veterinary assistant experience is required, as well as a friendly and warm personality. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software.   • Restraining pets for exams and minor procedures

Facility Maintenance, Janitor, and Groundskeeper
Full-time or Part-time/Staff Position

The Facility Maintenance, Janitor and Groundskeeper position is a physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can work in a fast-paced, caring environment. Interested candidates meeting the below requirements should email their resume and two references to jeannie@faithfulfriends.us.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • 20 hours/week (4-hour shifts)
  • Some day and evening shifts – must be flexible with availability
  • Mature, professional, reliable, detail-oriented – serious inquiries only
  • Team player who takes initiative and uses good judgment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Respectful of all dog and cat breeds
  • Facility cleaning (bathrooms, floors, walls, doors/knobs, all surfaces, windows)
  • Trash removal
  • Replace bulbs and clean light fixtures
  • Keep outside of buildings clean and neat
  • Basic repairs and maintenance – training provided if needed
  • Ground maintenance including snow removal, lawn and landscaping
  • Unload deliveries – must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Cat Caretakers
Part-time/Staff Position

Part-time/Staff Position

The Dog Caretaker position is a minimum wage, labor-intensive, physical job that requires someone who is reliable and can handle dogs of all sizes up to 100lbs. in a fast-paced, caring environment.   • Available 15-30 hours/week (5-1/2 hour shifts)
  • Some day and evening shifts
  • Must be flexible with availability

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
