Meet Willy: A Special Guinea Pig
Some animals capture your heart the moment you meet them, and Willy is one of those special souls.
Willy came to Faithful Friends Animal Society back in April, when his previous family could no longer care for him. Though it’s been several months, this gentle little guinea pig has been waiting patiently for someone to notice him, someone who will see past his small size and one injured eye, and recognize the big heart he has to share.
Affectionately known by staff and volunteers as “One-Eyed Willy,” this resilient boy has become a shelter favorite. His right eye was injured before he arrived, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s curious, expressive, and always ready to pop his head out for a treat or a chat. When he hears the rustle of veggies, you can bet he’s squealing with excitement!
Willy’s daily routine includes cozying up in his fleece blanket, nibbling hay, and watching the world go by from his enclosure. He adores gentle pets and the sound of friendly voices, and would love a calm home where he can continue to feel safe and loved.
After months of waiting, Willy deserves to be the star of his own happy ending, a forever family who will cherish him just the way he is.
