Lulu is now safe after being in “survival mode” for months roaming the streets in Bear, Delaware. We cannot thank volunteers, Alison & Rita, enough for their tireless efforts to help bring Lulu in safely. And thanks to the landowner, Mary Lou for allowing them to set a trap on her property, and the community by reporting sightings enabling them to track her movements.
Thanks also to the AWESOME women who jumped in to help by lifting the heavy trap with the dog in it, to Rita’s car so she could transport the dog to our shelter.
This was NOT an easy task, but we are SO thankful for our volunteers who do this for the animals, not the praise (but we’re going to praise them anyway!!!)
