Community Cat Crisis Averted

Faithful Friends was contacted by a community member that had been caring for a group of cats for about 8 years. The business where the cat’s shelters and feeding stations were located changed hands and the new owners set a deadline for everything to be moved off of their property or they planned to dispose of it. We considered our barn program but due to the cats’ ages we determined it wasn’t in the cats’ best interest, senior cats do not do well with change and have the potential to shut down. Fortunately, we found a wonderful wooded area close by where we felt we could gradually draw the cats by slowly moving their feeding stations. We were able to clear the area and move everything over by the deadline. Hopefully, now the cats can live out the rest of their lives in peace.
