Community Cat Houses

Each year, Faithful Friends Animal Society volunteers help build over 200 cat houses for community cats around Delaware. It is a huge effort to raise the funds from donors, and gather volunteers to make the shelters that keep cats warm throughout the winter months. This year, DHA helped fund supplies for 50 houses, which they distributed, and another 50 houses were donated to First State Animal Center to reach our downstate friends!
Community colony caretakers picked up cat houses throughout the past week and we are OUT of houses for this season. However, they are fun and easy to make! If you are interested in making your own you can visit HERE for instructions. They cost about $25 in supplies to make one.
